Experience an unforgettable three-day mountaineering expedition on the legendary Mountain of the Gods and reach Mytikas (2,918 m), the highest peak in Greece.
This carefully designed route is considered one of the most scenic and complete trekking experiences on Mount Olympus, combining lush forests, breathtaking alpine landscapes, historic mountain refuges, and spectacular panoramic views.
All tours are conducted on a private basis, with a maximum of 5 participants, ensuring personalized guidance, enhanced safety, and an authentic mountain experience under the supervision of a Certified Mountain Leader.
Our adventure begins at Gortsia (1,120 m), where we meet the group, conduct a safety briefing, and perform a final equipment check.
We begin hiking through beautiful beech and black pine forests, following one of the most scenic trails in the Mount Olympus National Park.
After a rewarding hike, we arrive at Petrostrouga Refuge (1,940 m), where we spend our first night. After dinner, we relax and prepare for the summit day ahead.
After breakfast, we begin our ascent towards Skourta Peak (2,476 m), enjoying spectacular views over the Olympus massif and the Aegean Sea.
We continue across the impressive Laimos Pass towards the famous Plateau of the Muses.
Our next stop is Giosos Apostolidis Refuge (2,700 m), where we take a well-deserved break before beginning the final ascent.
The highlight of the expedition follows as we climb Mytikas (2,918 m), the highest summit in Greece. The final section is completed using specialized climbing equipment under the supervision of a Certified Mountain Leader.
After reaching the summit, we return to the Plateau of the Muses.
Our second overnight stay is at Giosos Apostolidis Refuge (subject to availability). If accommodation is unavailable, we descend and spend the night again at Petrostrouga Refuge.
After breakfast, we begin our descent through the magnificent forests of Mount Olympus, returning to Gortsia, where this unforgettable three-day mountaineering adventure comes to an end.
All prices apply to the entire private group and are not charged per person.
The ascent to Mytikas Summit is carried out only when weather conditions, mountain conditions, and the overall risk assessment made by the Certified Mountain Leader allow it.
Should adverse weather or any other circumstance compromise the safety of the group, the Certified Mountain Leader has the sole authority to cancel the summit attempt or modify the itinerary, route, or destination of the activity whenever necessary.
The Mountain Leader's decision is final and binding for all participants and is made exclusively in the interest of ensuring the safety of the entire group.
Your adventure begins at the Litochoro Naval Museum, where we meet, check equipment, and transfer to the starting point.
The first day leads us through beautiful forest trails with steady elevation gain and stunning viewpoints.
Overnight: Petrostrouga Refuge
After breakfast, we continue the ascent into the alpine zone of Mount Olympus.
The terrain opens up, offering incredible views of the Throne of Zeus (Stefani) and surrounding peaks.
Overnight: Yosos Apostolidis Refuge
The final day is the most exciting part of the adventure: summit day.
After an early breakfast, we prepare for the ascent of the highest peak of Greece.
