Ascent Route

  1. Ascent to Skolio – 2,912 m
Our first objective is Skolio, the third-highest peak of Mount Olympus. The trail gradually gains elevation, offering impressive views over the mountain and surrounding region.
  2. Traverse & Scrambling to Skala – 2,867 m
After reaching Skolio, we continue toward Skala, where the technical section begins. This part of the route includes scrambling and requires stable movement on rocky terrain.
  3. Final Scramble to Mytikas – 2,917 m (Highest Peak)
From Skala, we begin the classic scrambling route toward Mytikas, the highest summit of Greece, standing proudly at 2,917 meters. With the guidance of our certified mountain leader, you will safely reach the peak of the legendary home of the gods.

Descent & Return

After spending time at the summit and capturing photos, we begin our descent back to Christakis Refuge, following the same route. Once we return to the vehicles, we drive back to Larissa, finishing the tour at the same location where we started.
