Our adventure begins in Kastraki, Meteora, where we meet the group, provide a briefing about the activity, and perform a final equipment check before setting off.
We begin our hike along the historic trails that monks used for centuries, walking through forests, natural passages, and spectacular rock formations.
Throughout the hike we stop at the best viewpoints for photographs while your guide explains the fascinating history of Meteora, the formation of its unique rock pillars, the monastic tradition, and the local flora and fauna.
If the group wishes and time permits, there is also the opportunity to visit one of the open monasteries. Please note that the entrance fee is not included in the tour price.
After completing the hike, we return to our starting point in Kastraki.
